Murray State University Health Services offers COVID-19 vaccinations by appointment only. You can visit Murray State University Health Services to schedule your vaccine Monday – Friday, 1 p.m. - 5 p.m. You can also call 270.809.3809 to make an appointment.
Murray State University’s health services are provided by Village Medical of Murray. Health Services is located on the first floor of Wells Hall, facing the quad. A provider and their staff will be on site during operating hours. Health services is available to faculty, staff and students.

COVID-19 testing is completed each day from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. If a student, faculty or staff member needs to be tested for COVID-19, please call: 270.809.3809.
The first priority for testing is given to individuals who are at high-risk of exposure to COVID-19 or are displaying symptoms of COVID-19. Like all health facilities in the community, Murray State Health Services/Village Medical first asks for and accepts insurance.
We also allow students to be tested wherever they wish.
When there is a tele-visit in advance of the testing, it is to obtain key medical information about the student’s health, pre and post planning based upon the results of the COVID-19 testing for treatment and possible quarantine purposes, and the collection of data we are required to report timely.
COVID-19 symptoms may include:
Fever or chills
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Muscle or body aches
New loss of taste or smell
Congestion or runny nose
Nausea or vomiting
This list does not include all possibly symptoms. The CDC will continue to update this list as more is learned about COVID-19.
Rapid tests are available at Health Services for any student, faculty or staff member with COVID-19 symptoms. Rapid test kits are also available at Village Medical main office (1000 South 12th Street – Murray, KY 42071).
To obtain a rapid test, make an appointment by calling 270.809.3809 or by emailing Murray State Health Services. Let them know you are a student, faculty, or staff member at Murray State and need a rapid test. Take your Murray State Racer ID Card with you for your rapid test appointment. If your test result is positive, you will be required to be seen and treated by the provider at Health Services. Health Services is open Monday through Friday from 1 to 5 p.m. for testing.
Patients who visit the on-campus location and are in need of additional treatment or consultation will receive priority service at the Main Office located at 1000 South 12th Street presenting their Murray State Racer ID Card.

Students, Faculty and Staff can schedule an appointment online through Village Medical or Zocdoc. If you already have an account in the patient portal, you can access your chart and schedule an appointment through the portal.

Village Medical of Murray will file insurance claims or provide services on a pay-per-visit basis for individuals who do not have or do not wish to use health insurance.
Self-pay office visits for students without insurance or who do not wish to bill their insurance is $65.00.
